Honor, Respect, Remember. What better reasons to bring our community together to provide a forum to
pay tribute to our active veterans and fallen American Heroes; especially those fallen from the Vietnam
War.
From June 29, 2017, thru July 4, 2017 the Township of Hampton, in conjunction with the American
Veterans traveling Tribute (AVTT), has the honor of hosting the Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall. This
80% replica of the Vietnam Memorial is 360 feet in length and reaches 8 feet at his apex. It provides
those who are not able to visit the memorial in Washington D.C. with the opportunity to honor those who
served while paying specific tribute to those that gave their all in that service.
On behalf of Victor D. Son, Hampton Township Council President, all Members of Hampton Township
Council and myself; please accept this letter as an invitation to join us during this time of honor at
Hampton Community Park. We believe that there is no better way to honor and respect our veterans than
to remember as well as acknowledge their service. The Opening Ceremony for this tribute is set for June
29, 2017 at 7:00pm. The Memorial Wall is open to visitors 24 hours per day from 7:00pm June 29th thru
3:00pm, July 4th
